Your draw is a gutshot because you need a certain card to make a straight, which is four outs. The word gutshot is interchangeable with “inside straight draw”.

You might have heard people talk about their “hero fold”, which is our H term. It is a hero fold when you reluctantly lay down a strong hand. For example, maybe you are sitting at tables on your Everest Poker download and get into a hand with a player that hasn’t raised once over a huge sample size. You receive 23s blind versus blind and flop a flush, but instead of just calling your bet, your passive opponent raises. Choosing to fold this hand after a single raise is a clear case of a hero fold.
